NEWH, Inc. Scholarships
About NEWH Scholarships – An objective of the NEWH By-laws is to promote scholarship, education and interest within the Hospitality Industry. NEWH, Inc. and its chapters fundraise to provide scholarships to students pursuing a career within Hospitality related fields (Interior Design, Hospitality Management, Culinary, Architecture, Senior Living, etc.).
NEWH ICON of Industry $7,500 scholarship: Opens in spring, applications due in summer. Scholarship recipients will be awarded at Boutique Design Gold Key Awards Gala in New York City on November 11th. Scholarship recipient must be able to attend the awards event with paid airfare/lodging provided. Now Closed – Scholarships will open again in Spring 2022.
NEWH Clifford R. Tuttle $5,000 scholarship sponsored by ForrestPerkins/Perkins Eastman: Opens in spring, applications due in summer and awarded in November. Open to interior design students. Awarded at the Hospitality Design Platinum Circle Gala in New York City in November. Scholarship recipient must be able to attend the awards event with paid airfare/lodging provided. Now Closed – Scholarships will open again in Spring 2022.
NEWH Leadership – two $7,500 scholarships: Opens in spring (even years), applications due late summer. Winner awarded at the NEWH Leadership Conference in January/February the following year (location changes). Open to interior design and culinary students. Scholarship recipient must be able to attend the awards event with paid airfare/lodging/conference pass provided. Now Closed – Scholarships will open again in Spring 2022.
NEWH Harvey Nudelman $5,000 scholarship, sponsored by Fabricut Contract, FR One: Opens in spring, applications due in summer and awarded at HD in August 2021. Open to interior design students pursuing a career in hospitality. Awarded during The Young Entrepreneurs breakfast and panel discussion at HD EXPO in Las Vegas, Nevada. Scholarship recipient must be able to attend the awards event with paid airfare/lodging provided. Now Closed – Scholarships will open again in Spring 2022.
Chapter Scholarships – NEWH Chapter scholarships are awarded annually and open to students within the chapter territory. To apply, go to NEWH Chapter Scholarships page (if there is no hyperlink, check back it simply means the scholarship has not opened yet).
